Societe Generale names head of export finance for Germany

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking has hired Volker Kaeseborn as the new head of export finance for Germany. Kaeseborn replaces Andre Tissot, who will be taking up new responsibilities within the bank.

Based in Frankfurt, Kaeseborn’s mission will be to structure ECA-backed financing with German, Austrian and Swiss exporters and sponsors. He will report to Denis Stas de Richelle and Isabelle Guillou, global head and deputy global head of export finance respectively.

Before joining Societe Generale, Kaeseborn was head of the export and project finance team for Fortis in Frankfurt. He has gained more than 15 years of experience in the sector working on numerous ECA-covered export finance and project finance deals in power, infrastructure, metals, paper, transport and natural resources sectors.
